Elisa Veiga (PhD) is a clinical psychologist and family therapist, with advanced training in narrative therapies and systemic family interventions. She is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Education and Psychology at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and guest lecturer at Saint Joseph University (Macau) in the Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her research interests focus on risk and protective factors in developmental trajectories (adverse childhood experiences, family risks, parenthood and child protection), family transitions, (serious and terminal illness and grieving processes). She is working on the evaluation of trauma-sensitive contexts and trauma sensitive-care capacitation. She is qualitative research specialist.
